Dynamic Computing Solutions began development of NK2 management software two years ago with a product called Owtlook. Its primary function was to let MS Outlook® users edit the Name and/or E-mail addresses in autocomplete (NK2) files. About six months ago, it became apparent that most of our customers desired functions that we did not program into our original product. Specifically, they requested that our next generation of products incorporate three key functions: Import, Copy NK2 data to a contact folder function, and Exchange® GAL record editing. To better match our products to our customers' needs, we created the following product line:

· Ingressor Desktop Edition – This version is installed on a single desktop computer by an end-user. When the load button is pressed, our program finds your NK2 file. If you have two or more profiles you may want to purchase the HelpDesk Lite program which is licensed for up to three NK2 files. The primary functions supported are:

Search and Edit Name, and/or Alias information in a single record or globally;
Import data from external data sources into the NK2 file;
Export data to a CSV or Tab delimited file;
One button Copy NK2 data to Contact folder if local PST files are used; and
Print and Replace file contents   .
·Ingressor HelpDesk Lite – The most commonly requested configuration of Ingressor, this product functions exactly like the Desktop Edition except the Load button produces a "browse" capability, giving the IT professional the ability to open all accessible NK2 files on the network. Both of the HelpDesk programs support a Merge function in the 5.0 series enabling you to quickly and easilty consolidate NK2 files (up to three). Like the Exchange version below, the Lite version will edit all record types including Exchange® records.

·Ingressor HelpDesk Exchange – This (GUI) version functions like HelpDesk above, but it provides the ability to fully edit GAL/Exchange® records, including X500 data. This program features everything in the Desktop and Lite version, but ships with 10 licenses with the ability to add more licenses as required, either at time of sale or subsequent to the sale.

·Ingressor Exchange Commander - The Commander provides all of the power and flexibility of the above versions, but is executed from a command line with parameters to make global changes and/or deletions.

In the pages that follow, we have attempted to explain how to use and derive maximum benefit from Ingressor Desktop. In the interest of saving both time and money, this help file was created generically so that it could be deployed with all Ingressor editions. If a particular function is not suited to the Desktop version, we have noted the limitation. The primary limitation of the Desktop product is that it does not allow one to browse around a network and open NK2 files on other computers. The other limitation is that this version will not allow the editing of Exchange
®, x500 records. We felt that such features had no place in a desktop application and represented both operational and security issues.

We have used standard Windows'
® protocol for most functions so that operators can quickly familiarize themselves with the program's functionality.

If you find that one of our products doesn't perform as you think it should, or if there is a feature that you'd like to see added, we encourage you to contact us at support@ingressor.com. We look forward to receiving your suggestions!

If at any time you feel that you are not being treated with courtesy and respect, contact me directly at ranmcnees@ingressor.com.

Thank you for taking the time to review and/or purchase our Ingressor products.

Sincerely,
