Once the NK2 file is opened with one of the Ingressor products, you will be able to import data into it from an external data source.
Press the Import button or from Top Line Menu press Tools>Import from File and supply the required file data. The format for importing into Ingressor is as follows:
The following two formats are supported for importing into the Desktop Edition:
Tab delimited:
Field1: Record Type(SMTP only) Field2: Name Field3: Alias
A sample import file would look like this (note that <> is a tab):
SMTP<>Name<>E-mail Address
SMTP<>Name2<>E-mail Address2
CSV with quotations as text qualifiers
"Field1: Record Type(SMTP only)","Field2: Name","Field3: Alias"

The following formats are supported when importing into one of the Ingressor Exchange Editions:

Field1: Record Type(EX) Field2: Name Field3: Exchange® Information (The Alias will be completed from the Exchange® Data)*

Only three fields are required for either SMTP or Exchange® imports although the latter will create four fields. The GAL information is extracted from the second cn= reference in the actual x500 part of the data and placed in the Alias field.
